The parc is a perfect launch pad for exploring this fantastic region, which can often be overlooked by families who don’t realise that the beaches are huge, the sea is warmer than the Atlantic, and the history is fascinating for all ages.  

Within an easy drive you can discover areas holding key pieces of history - the Bayeux Tapestry at Bayeux, the D-Day landing beaches at Arromanches, the amazing Mont St Michel, for example.

A real catch on parc are the two fishing pools, exclusive to customers at Domaine de Litteau and free to fish. If you can’t carry your equipment, rods start from just €10 in the on-parc shop. Early signs are that sweetcorn is the most popular bait!
